The members of the Collaborative Lawyers of Eastern Iowa are trained in the practice of collaborative law. To become a member attorney of the Collaborative Lawyers of Eastern Iowa, you must:
- Be admitted to practice in the State of Iowa;
- Complete a 12 hour collaborative practice training course;
- Complete six (6) hours of mediation training; and
- Be a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
This organization also welcomes non-attorney professionals. Membership criteria for a child-advocate, health care, and financial
professionals wishing to join the organization are established, from time to time, by the attorney members of the organization.
